Night Shift Employee Ambassador
Location: Cherry Ridge and Strasburg Facilities
Reports to: Nightshift Ambassador Supervisor
Hours: Sunday-Thursday, 10:30PM-7:00AM (subject to change based on business needs)
Summary
The Employee Ambassador is a warm, approachable, and compassionate member of the Corporate Care team who demonstrates genuine concern for the well-being of ProVia employees and their families. This role helps nurture and preserve ProVia's culture by providing personal support, building meaningful relationships, and connecting employees with appropriate resources and next steps when needed. The Employee Ambassador partners closely with the Employee Experience Specialist to promote and facilitate Corporate Care initiatives and is expected to consistently represent ProVia's Purpose, Vision, Mission, and Values.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Model and help preserve ProVia's culture by consistently demonstrating ProVia's Purpose, Vision, Mission, and Values.
- Support the emotional and spiritual well-being, morale, and overall care of employees and their families.
- Provide a safe, confidential, and supportive environment for employees who need to discuss sensitive personal or workplace matters and help identify appropriate next steps or resources.
- Conduct regular walkthroughs at assigned facilities to build trust, develop relationships, and remain connected to employees.
- Visit employees and immediate family members in hospitals, nursing homes, during calling hours or funerals, and in their homes as appropriate.
- Facilitate Corporate Care personal development initiatives, including small-group sessions and other employee support programs.
- Promote and communicate ProVia values, Corporate Care initiatives, and Ambassador Team programs.
- Provide prayer or inspirational remarks at company meetings, events, and other gatherings when requested.
- Assist with companywide events, new employee orientation, and other Corporate Care activities.
- Review the ProVia Roadmap as part of the interviewing process and participate in exit interviews as assigned.
- Attend monthly production supervisor meetings and participate in seminars, training, and other professional development opportunities.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee information, conversations, and all sensitive data.
- Document employee one-on-one sessions in accordance with Corporate Care guidelines and confidentiality requirements.
- Interpret Ambassador Team events, initiatives, documents, and communications as needed.
- Translate Ambassador Team documents and communications between English and Spanish as needed.
- Coordinate, plan, and distribute department meal requests.
- Distribute employee gifts and other recognition items.
- Travel occasionally to Booneville and other locations as needed.
- Perform other duties and general tasks as assigned.

- Conversational in Spanish and English.
- Demonstrated empathy, emotional intelligence, active listening, and the ability to read and respond appropriately to people and situations.
- Exercises sound judgment and tact when handling difficult or sensitive situations and consistently maintain strict confidentiality.
- Professional, approachable, and respectful demeanor with a genuine desire to serve and support employees.

- Ability to work collaboratively with coworkers and the Corporate Care team.
- Practical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to facilitate small-group sessions and one-on-one conversations effectively.
- Ability to work successfully with employees at all levels and manage the differing needs, interests, and perspectives of multiple stakeholders.
- Knowledge and understanding of working with individuals from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds.
- Ability to remain flexible, adaptable, and effective under pressure as priorities change.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a related field or three to five years of relevant experience.
- Ability to travel as needed and maintain a valid driver's license.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and Smartsheet.
