Avera McKennan Hospital Work Shift: Primarily days with night, weekend and holiday on-call involvement (United States of America) The pay range for this position is listed below. May be eligible for a $15,000 sign on bonus with a 3 year contract commitment. Position may be eligible for Avera’s Student Loan Repayment Program, which helps you pay off your loans and save money. Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help pay down your principal balance faster. Be part of a multidisciplinary team built with compassion and the goal of Moving Health Forward for you and our patients. Acts as a clinical resource assuring implementation of program policy/procedures and regulatory compliance. Oversees and provides care to acute and chronic dialysis patients as well as coordination of day to day operations by managing staff assignments and duties. Provides direct patient care to dialysis patients. Supervises and coordinates day-to-day operations of the unit to include staffing and patient scheduling. Duties are performed in such a manner as to ensure the unit operates in a safe and efficient manner. Assists leader in the review, implementation, and compliance of Avera policies and procedures, and requirement of outside regulatory agencies. Assists with submission of quality and regulatory reporting as directed. Assists with the collection and analysis of performance improvement data. Reviews patient treatment plan with direct caregivers and primary nurses. Offers suggestions/interventions to enhance efficiency and quality of care. Coordinates operations and procedures including biomedical matters, physician orders, supplies, primary nursing, and regulatory reporting as directed. Rounds with physicians and provides patient updates. Follows through with physician orders. Monitors lab results and reports abnormal results to nephrologist.
