Induction Heat Treat Operator - Cleveland, OH - JOB 26-00373

Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00/HR Full-Time Permanent Position with Benefits

2nd Shift Availability
  • Monday to Friday (with weekend shift opportunities as production demands).
  • Flexible shift structures: 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts.

A premier manufacturing firm in the Cleveland, OH area to hire a dependable Induction Heat Treat Operator for their expanding 2nd shift operations. The company will provide on-the-job training so you can learn how to safely operate advanced induction heating and straightening equipment to alter and enhance the mechanical properties of metal components.

Responsibilities
  • Set up, calibrate, and program induction heat treatment machinery and related component-loading systems.
  • Monitor active machine setups continuously to ensure 100% compliance with engineering specifications and quality blueprints.
  • Collaborate directly with the Engineering and Plant Management teams to test new programming, troubleshoot tooling, and refine best practices.
  • Accurate tracking of daily production data, task in/task out times, product labeling, and barcode scanning.
  • Safely measure, record, and maintain daily levels of production chemicals and fluid concentrations.
  • Work alongside production schedulers utilizing the IQMS software system to ensure on-time order fulfillment.
  • Maintain strict adherence to all internal safety protocols, OSHA standards, and environmental regulations.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent trade school education.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing, machining, factory, or warehouse environment is highly desirable.
  • Ability to read basic blueprint documentation and navigate digital interfaces (ERP/IQMS experience is a plus).
  • Ability to handle physical manufacturing tasks, including standing for long periods and safely lifting components.
