Pay Range: $25 - $35 (Dependent on Experience)
- This position is open to either 2nd or 3rd shift, below are the days/times per shift:
- 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00p - 10:30p
- 3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 10:00p - 6:30a
Responsibilities:
Our Mechanics are responsible for repairing and refurbishing fusion equipment in a distribution plant by performing the following duties:
- Diagnose, maintain and repair fusion equipment including; small diesel/gas engines, generators, electrical circuits and hydraulic systems.
- Report machine defects, damages and malfunctions.
- Previous experience with computers for order entry, parts ordering and email is a plus.
- Inspect, repair or replace parts as needed.
- Perform preventive maintenance.
- Remove and replace failed parts.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
- Clearly able to communicate needed maintenance and repairs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Base Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in maintenance or automotive repair preferred
- Diagnostic ability and Troubleshooting skills
- Commitment to quality
- Ability to meet deadlines, work flexible hours, and work in a team environment
- Interpret technical instructions
- Capability to use independent judgment and work both independently and, in a team setting.
- Basic computer skills
- Automotive experience is a plus
- Physical demands: must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis, standing, climbing is frequently required.
