Night Shift Leader – Steel Distribution | Tulsa, OK
Pay: $20.00–$23.00 per hour Hours: 3:30 PM–12:00 AM | Overtime available as needed
HireCall is hiring an experienced Night Shift Leader to oversee warehouse operations at a busy steel distribution facility. This position will lead a night shift team, coordinate shipping and receiving activities, maintain safety standards, and ensure productivity goals are met.
Responsibilities
Supervise and lead the night shift warehouse team
Oversee loading, unloading, order pulling, and shipping of steel products
Ensure safety procedures and standards are followed
Operate and/or oversee forklifts and overhead cranes
Coordinate workflow to meet shipping deadlines
Train and mentor warehouse associates
Monitor inventory accuracy and documentation
Report nightly production metrics to management
Address operational or personnel issues during the shift
Qualifications
3+ years of warehouse or industrial supervisory experience
Steel distribution or metals experience strongly preferred
Experience with overhead cranes and forklifts
Strong leadership and communication skills
Reliable attendance and ability to consistently work night shift
Knowledge of warehouse safety practices
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and physical activity
Comfortable working in warehouse conditions
