ABR is hiring a Night Shift Machine Operator/Production Technician for a Fortune 500 company!

Hours are 6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m., 7 nights on and 7 nights off
Wage: Minimum starting at $23.11 per hour and you can move up quickly with their pay for skill program! Excellent benefits package!
The Machine Operator safely operates manufacturing systems, monitors specifications of product to ensure quality and performs required in-process testing. This position also is responsible for maintenance checks on equipment.
Machine Operator duties include:
- Operates equipment and complete all required reports
- Ensure compliance for all in-process and finished product quality parameters
- Perform required in-process testing and complete required reports
- Complete sanitation procedures
- Restock supplies as needed
- Perform routine operator-based maintenance checks and monitor equipment for proper maintenance.
- Follow all outlined safety policies and procedures
- Monitor, troubleshoot and adjust equipment as necessary to achieve throughput and yield goals of the organization
- Participate in problem solving, continuous improvement efforts and cost reduction teams, safety efforts and submit ideas as appropriate
- Special projects as assigned by Management
Requirements for the Production Technician position:
- High School Diploma or Equivalency (Minimum requirement), college or Technical School preferred.
- Must be willing and able to work a rotating shift schedule consisting of 12-hour shifts, 7-night week, including holidays. We operate 24 hours 365 days
- Must be willing to learn and/or able to operate forklift
- Must have strong mathematical, analytical and mechanical skills
- Strong orientation to detail and good communication skills
- Must be highly motivated and require minimal supervision to successfully perform job duties
- Basic data entry and PC computer skills
- Must be able to lift and carry 55 lbs., climb ladders and work at heights
- Must be able to work safely and effectively in a team environment
- Previous experience with steam boilers, turbine driven electric generators, air compressors, cooling tower systems is a plus; however, not a requirement
