Our client is a growing flexible packaging manufacturer seeking an experienced Night Shift Production Manager to oversee overnight manufacturing operations and lead teams in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, and operational efficiency while ensuring production goals and customer expectations are consistently met.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience within flexible packaging, printing, converting, or a related manufacturing environment and a proven ability to manage production teams, improve processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all night shift production operations to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency goals are achieved
• Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and hourly team members
• Monitor production schedules and workflow to meet customer deadlines and production targets
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and company procedures
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste, downtime, and operating costs
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and operations teams to resolve production issues quickly and effectively
• Track production metrics and prepare shift performance reports
• Support staffing, training, employee engagement, and performance management initiatives

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production leadership experience in flexible packaging, printing, converting, or related manufacturing
• Prior experience managing night shift or 24/7 manufacturing operations preferred
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and continuous improvement principles
• Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced production environment
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus
