Job Requirements
Education Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.

Certifications Requirements:

• Current Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification (preferred).

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of specializing in hospital respiratory therapy.
• Experience with Meditech EMR system.
• Prior floating experience across hospital departments.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work night shifts (7pm-7:30am).
• Flexibility to work every other weekend.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hospital staff to assess and deliver respiratory therapy treatments across all hospital departments.
• Provide ventilator management, airway care, and oxygen therapy under physician orders.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments accordingly, maintaining documentation in Meditech EMR.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and post-treatment care.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols during all procedures.
