JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Night Warehouse Supervisor
Reports to: Warehouse Manager
Schedule: Monday - Thursday | 8:00 P.M. - 6:30 A.M.
Starting Pay: $60,000 annually ($54,000 base + $6,000 commission)
Job Summary
The Production Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing nightly warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of beverage products. This role leads a team of warehouse employees, maintains inventory accuracy, and enforces safety standards in a fast-paced environment. The supervisor plays a critical role in optimizing processes, supporting productivity goals, and ensuring timely order fulfillment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
- Lead, train, and support warehouse staff to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with logistics, sales, and other departments to meet customer demand and ensure timely deliveries.
- Prepare and maintain reports on warehouse operations, inventory, and employee performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.
- Address and resolve issues related to product quality, safety, and inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standard operating practices.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Experience in the beverage industry.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Forklift certification.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Work is performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, including refrigerated areas.
- Must be able to work overnight shifts and adapt to a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
