We are looking for a dependable, experienced Night Shift Caregiver to join our team.


Shift: 7:45 PM – 8:30 AM
Must be available to work weekends and holidays

About the Role:
Casita Senior Living LLC is located in Rio Rancho, on the West side of Albuquerque, NM, and is looking for a compassionate, dedicated night-shift caregiver to join our team! This is a meaningful opportunity to make a real difference in seniors' lives by providing attentive overnight care in a warm, supportive environment. Employees are required to work at both locations. We are looking for someone with caregiving experience who is comfortable with:


• Assisting residents with ADLs, including toileting, brief changes, hygiene, dressing, repositioning, and mobility
• Assisting with medications according to facility policy and training
• Preparing meals and assisting residents with eating as needed
• Completing nightly cleaning, laundry, and household duties
• Caring for multiple residents at the same time and appropriately prioritizing their needs
• Performing resident rounds and maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
• Working as a team and communicating effectively with other caregivers and management
• Managing time independently and maintaining the routine and flow of the home throughout the night


We need someone who is reliable, organized, compassionate, and able to take initiative. This position requires more than simply being present overnight—you must be comfortable staying active, managing responsibilities, and providing quality care to several residents.


Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assist residents throughout the night, ensuring their safety and comfort
• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and nighttime needs
• Administer medications as directed and document accurately per care plans
• Perform routine overnight checks and document resident status and incidents
• Assist residents with repositioning and fall prevention protocols
• Communicate any changes in resident condition to appropriate staff or supervisors
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for all residents

Requirements:

• Previous caregiving, CNA, or direct care experience preferred
• Ability to work overnight/nightshift hours reliably and consistently
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor when working with seniors
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow individualized care plans
• Basic knowledge of senior care, memory care, or assisted living practices a plus
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Must pass a background check and meet state caregiver requirements in New Mexico
