Nighttime Custodian

 

The custodian is responsible for general cleaning of the school classrooms and common areas. This is a part time, 19 hour per week position.

 

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

 

Experience: Custodial/janitorial/housekeeping experience preferred.

 

Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license and must pass a criminal background check.

 

Physical Demands: Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, reach, and climb ladders.

Must be able to work independently without direct supervision.

 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Perform a variety of facility janitorial duties such as sweep, vacuum, clean restrooms and tabletops. Possibly help with a variety of installations and or minor repairs, snow and ice removal from walkways

 

Prioritizes and completes maintenance requests in a timely manner.

Is responsible for all equipment, vehicles, and tools used.

Other duties may be assigned on a project basis.
