NKY Sports Contributor

LINK Media is looking for Sports Contributors to help us deliver high school sports news coverage. We need folks who would like a contract, part-time engagement, covering specific teams or beats. We're a startup, so everyone we engage is a critical part of the team, and must be willing to work quickly, accept that we don't have everything figured out, remain flexible, and above all else, understand that what we are creating is bigger than any one person, or personality. Compensation: Set pay rates for games covered/stories written

What We Expect from You:

• Manage assigned stories and enterprise/pitch additional stories in your areas of interest
• Publish digital and multimedia reports and creative stories
• Accept assignments and follow up on news tips
• Strong journalistic integrity and creativity
• Maintain notes and audio recordings from stories/sources for review when necessary
• Work in collaboration with managing editor and chief content officer

Skills We Need You to Have:

• Experience or education as sports reporter
• Strong writing and speaking skills
• Multimedia knowledge (websites, photo, audio, video editing)
