Start your driving career in the Newark, NJ area with a role designed for new CDL A holders. 365 Freight USA is hiring recent graduates and newly licensed CDL A drivers for a paid 4–6 week mentor training program. You will ride and work alongside an experienced driver, learn the day-to-day flow of professional trucking, and then transition into solo driving. After training, drivers can earn $1,600–$1,800 weekly with full benefits.

A structured path for recent CDL A graduates to move from the classroom into real-world driving with practical on-the-road guidance from a mentor.
Primary responsibilities:
Complete a 4–6 week paid mentor training period, learning daily driving routines, riding with an experienced driver, and preparing to transition into solo driving.
Drive with your mentor while assisting with pickups and deliveries and learning how to secure and manage loads safely and efficiently.
Follow safe driving practices and complete required vehicle and cargo checks to build professional over-the-road habits.
Develop hands-on experience with trip flow, communication, and decision-making as you progress into an independent driver role.
Qualifications and attributes we look for:
Recent CDL A holder or newly licensed CDL A driver.
Safety-first mindset: consistently follow DOT requirements, company procedures, and safe driving practices.
Reliability: punctual, dependable, and able to maintain schedules and responsibilities during training and after transitioning to solo driving.
Coachability: receptive to feedback from your mentor and willing to learn through real-time instruction on the road.
Strong communication: maintain clear contact with your mentor and dispatch, ask questions when needed, and communicate updates and concerns promptly.
