A leading music streaming company seeks an NOC Analystto provide 24/7 operational support by monitoring enterprise networks, servers, and applications from a centralized Network Operations Center.
NOC Analyst Responsibilities:
Monitor enterprise networks, servers, applications, and system performance, proactively identifying issues, performing initial troubleshooting, documenting anomalies, and escalating incidents as needed to minimize operational impact.
Lead production incident communications by coordinating triage sessions, issuing notifications through email, phone, and text, updating senior leadership and internal/external stakeholders, and documenting incident resolution activities.
Create, update, and manage incident tickets while maintaining accurate operational logs, shift documentation, preventative maintenance records, and escalation procedures to ensure complete incident tracking and resolution.
Collaborate with IT Support, Operations, and cross-functional technical teams to resolve production issues, perform scheduled maintenance, execute network password resets, and support ongoing operational activities.
Recommend and implement process improvements, monitoring enhancements, documentation updates, operational efficiencies, and performance optimizations while identifying trends and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
NOC Analyst Qualifications:
2-4 years of experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC), computer operations, or network operations environment.
Associate's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience monitoring enterprise systems, servers, applications, and network infrastructure in a production environment.
Strong troubleshooting, incident management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Experience using incident management and ticketing systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to coordinate technical and business stakeholders during production incidents.
Shift:
Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Shift will be set and consistent once assigned.
Additional shift coverages may be asked to cover TSOC activities.
