Join Prime Healthcare as a Nocturnist at St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital, a vital community hospital in the heart of Chicago. Provide exceptional inpatient care during night shifts, ensuring continuity, rapid response, and high-quality outcomes for our patients when they need it most.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care during overnight hours

• 7 on / 7 off schedule

• Admit patients from the emergency department

• Cross-cover and manage existing hospitalized patients

• Respond to overnight clinical changes and rapid responses

• Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and care teams

• Ensure thorough documentation and effective handoffs

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited program

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

• Eligible for or active Illinois medical license

• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $330,000.00 to $350,000.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
