Nocturnist Physician for a Medical Center in Shiprock, NM

Overview
We are seeking a Nocturnist Physician to provide overnight inpatient coverage in a structured clinical environment in Shiprock, NM. This role is ideal for providers who enjoy independent decision-making, a focused overnight workflow, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in an underserved community.
What You'll Do

Provide overnight hospital coverage (typically 7 PM – 7 AM)

Admit and manage inpatient cases from the Emergency Department

Respond to urgent and emergent patient care needs

Stabilize patients and coordinate care with nursing and ED teams

Ensure accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinical standards
What We're Looking For

MD or DO in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

Board Certified or Board Eligible

Experience in hospitalist or inpatient settings preferred

Ability to work independently and make critical clinical decisions overnight

Comfortable working in a rural or community-focused setting
