In the role of Noise Specialist 1, we''ll count on you to:

• Conduct noise acoustical and/or vibration studies on various projects
• Assist in the preparation of data collection from the field and subconsultants, and develop noise reports
• Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables
• Work independently on small projects or assist more-senior colleagues on larger projects
• Interact with staff and work with local regulators and subs
• Work on environmental noise, architectural acoustics, building noise, and vibration-related analyses
• Use state-of-the-art instruments to measure noise and vibration, and to process and analyze that data is required
• Perform other related duties as necessary

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Acoustics, Math, Physics or closely related field
• Understanding of GIS and GPS
• Self-starter with excellent writing and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency with state-of-the-art software used to process and analyze noise and vibration measurement data
• Must also be familiar with relevant acoustical standards
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
