One-Year Temporary Non-Bachelor''s Degree Substitute Teacher

This position is for those who wish to be a substitute teacher but do not hold a Bachelor degree.

You will get an email inviting you to interview. You must have two professional reference surveys returned or you can not be interviewed.

Substitute Teachers perform the instructional and classroom management processes for teachers who are absent for a day or longer periods of time. Candidates need to be flexible in their availability.

Substitute Teacher Responsibilities:

• Take attendance according to the procedures of the school, keep classroom and work orderly, and maintain normal classroom rhythms
• Direct the classroom, accomplishing curriculum objectives and goals outlined in the lesson plans
• Comply with guidelines and policies of the school at all times
• Maintain a professional attitude in all manner of conduct with students, faculty, and parents

To be considered for an interview:

• Must have at least 2 professional reference surveys completed/returned. Professional references are: co-workers or supervisors not friends or family
• Have expereince working with school aged children
