Road Warrior Staffing is hiring dependable and customer-focused Non-CDL Box Truck Delivery Drivers for a busy delivery operation based in Torrance, CA.

This is an active, hands-on local delivery driver position serving both commercial and residential customers throughout Los Angeles County and the Inland Empire.

Drivers will operate an automatic 26-foot box truck equipped with a liftgate and complete approximately 12–20 deliveries per day. This is not a drop-and-go driving position. Drivers should expect to be actively involved in loading, unloading, handling freight, and interacting directly with customers throughout the workday.

Approximately 90% of the freight is touch freight, so candidates should be comfortable with physical delivery work, pallet jacks, dollies, and lifting items weighing up to 75 pounds.

First 2 weeks of training begin at 6:00 AM
Regular start time after training: Between 10:00 AM–12:00 PM

Duties

As a Non-CDL Box Truck Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating the assigned vehicle while providing professional delivery service to commercial and residential customers.

Responsibilities include:

Safely operate an automatic 26-foot box truck
Complete approximately 12–20 delivery stops per day
Deliver throughout Los Angeles County and the Inland Empire
Deliver freight to both commercial and residential customers
Load and unload freight using pallet jacks and dollies
Handle approximately 90% touch freight
Lift and handle items weighing up to 75 pounds
Deliver palletized freight to commercial locations
Deliver residential orders directly to customer doors
Operate the truck's liftgate safely and properly
Perform light assembly or disassembly of freight when required
Complete approximately 10% of deliveries involving light assembly/disassembly
Follow proper freight-handling and delivery procedures
Communicate professionally with customers at delivery locations
Maintain accurate delivery documentation
Perform required vehicle inspections
Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
Follow all applicable safety procedures
Maintain reliable and timely service throughout the assigned route

Training is provided for required light assembly and disassembly activities.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
Valid driver's license appropriate for operating a non-CDL box truck
Ability to safely operate a 26-foot automatic box truck
Previous delivery, driving, warehouse, logistics, or customer service experience preferred
Ability to complete multi-stop delivery routes
Comfortable performing physical, hands-on delivery work
Ability to load and unload freight
Comfortable using pallet jacks and dollies
Ability to lift and handle items weighing up to 75 pounds
Ability to interact professionally with commercial and residential customers
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Safety-minded approach to driving and freight handling
Ability to work Monday–Friday and Saturdays when needed
Availability to work overtime when required or available
Ability to provide full-week availability for scheduling
