Now hiring for a Non-CDL Box Truck Driver

Location: San Diego, CA

Pay Rate: $23.50 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Home every night, weekly pay, and a route you can count on.

What You'll Do:

• Safely operate a 26′ box truck on local delivery routes while following all traffic laws and company safety procedures.
• Deliver produce, grocery products, and specialty goods to markets, restaurants, and retail customers.
• Complete 15-20 delivery stops per day with a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Load, unload, and move products using pallet jacks, dollies, and other material handling equipment.
• Verify delivery orders for accuracy and obtain required delivery documentation and signatures.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service at each delivery location.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Ensure products are handled properly to prevent damage during transportation and delivery.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, route information, and required paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
• Follow DOT, company, and customer safety requirements at all times.
• Assist with general warehouse or loading activities as needed to support daily operations.
• Lift, carry, and physically unload products throughout the workday.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work vehicle.
• Complete deliveries on time while meeting productivity and service expectations.

Requirements:

• Valid Non-CDL license
• DOT Medical Card
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR
• 1-year related experience (within the past 3 years)
• No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years)
• No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years)
