Non CDL Delivery Driver

What you will do::

The Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of materials to customer locations and job sites. This role combines driving responsibilities with hands-on support in loading, unloading, and verifying deliveries. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, and committed to providing excellent customer service.

Non-CDL Driver Responsibilities

• • Safely operate company vehicles and complete pre- and post-trip inspections in accordance with traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
  • Deliver building materials to customer locations and jobsites accurately, safely, and on schedule.
  • Verify, load, secure, unload, and inspect materials to ensure correct quantities and prevent damage during transportation.
  • Provide professional customer service while obtaining required signatures, proof of delivery, and completing accurate delivery documentation.
  • Assist with returns, exchanges, and delivery corrections, and support warehouse or yard operations by staging and organizing materials as needed.
  • Follow all safety and PPE requirements, promptly report vehicle or safety concerns, and perform additional duties as needed to support operations.

What you will bring::

• Valid driver’s license (Class E or equivalent) with a clean driving record; experience driving a 26-foot straight box truck or similar vehicle required.
• Strong safety focus, dependable work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently while managing time effectively.
• Previous delivery, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred; familiarity with building materials is a plus.
• Forklift, manual transmission, and air brake experience are preferred; Class B CDL with air brake endorsement is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and jobsite personnel.
• Ability to lift and handle materials, perform physical tasks throughout the day, and work in driving, warehouse, yard, and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions; extended hours may occasionally be required.
