As a Material Handler, you will be primarily responsible for pulling product for customer orders. When not performing Material Handler duties, you will deliver product to customer locations. You will also prepare shipments and load trucks while ensuring safety at all times.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, distribution or warehouse environment preferred, but not required
  • A valid driver''s license and good driving record per company insurance policy
  • Must be able to obtain or currently have a fed med card, needed to cross state lines
  • High attention to detail and strong math skills to ensure accuracy
  • Ability to follow direction and safe operating procedures
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively throughout the shift without assistance (weight varies based on product)
  • Ability to be trained to use forklifts and other warehouse machinery
  • Work on his/her feet including walking for extended periods of time
  • Willing to work overtime as needed
  • Pull orders accurately as assigned for daily deliveries
  • Drive a 26 ft box truck or pickup truck on a consistent basis and as needed
  • Follow all safety procedures while delivering product or material handling per company policy
  • Stage orders according to truck location and verify the accuracy of pallets, etc.
  • Load trucks for daily and special deliveries
  • Use power equipment including, but not limited to forklift
  • Recognize damaged product at any point in the process and take appropriate action
  • Assist Customers and/or Drivers in loading and unloading materials from or to their vehicles and trucks
  • Perform housekeeping duties and other duties as assigned
