Non-CDL Driver

PPS is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Non-CDL Driver to support daily transportation and delivery operations for our metal fabrication facility in Bedford. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, strong attendance, and the ability to safely operate company vehicles while providing dependable service. This is a full-time, permanent position with excellent benefits and stability!

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly
• Transport materials, products, equipment, or supplies between locations
• Load and unload materials as needed
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after shifts
• Maintain accurate delivery and transportation records
• Follow assigned routes and schedules
• Communicate with customers, supervisors, and dispatch regarding deliveries
• Assist with warehouse or general labor duties when not driving
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
• Follow all company safety policies and DOT requirements applicable to the position

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Clean driving record
• Previous delivery, transportation, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred
• Ability to safely lift and move materials
• Strong attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently and follow directions
• Good communication and customer-service skills
• Must be safety-conscious and dependable

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., depending on the position
• Comfortable working in warehouse, outdoor, and/or industrial environments
