Job Description

Shape the last mile of the automotive supply chain

At U.S. AutoForce (a division of U.S. Venture, Inc.), youll start your day at 7:45am, complete a quick pre-trip inspection, and roll out in a box truck under 26,001 lbs to keep independent tire retailers, auto shops, and dealerships stocked. Youll run one of our established routes, making 10–20 timely deliveries in all kinds of weather, then wrap up with a post-trip before heading home. Most days run 8–12 hours, Monday–Friday, with rotating Saturdays or until all deliveries are completed. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs, and may require overtime.

What youll do

  • Operate a non‑CDL box truck (or other assigned vehicle) safely and courteously.
  • Make 10–20 stops/day; deliver on time and verify fulfillment on a provided handheld device.
  • Complete accurate logs and records (drivers logs, fuel purchases, and company-required documentation).
  • Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections daily.
  • Lift 50 lbs consistently and up to 80 lbs on occasion; team‑lift commercial tires or use mechanical aids.
  • Exert up to 40 lbs of pushing force when handling barrels or industrial/agricultural tires.
  • Assist with loading/unloading and, when needed, operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers.
  • Communicate clearly with customers, coworkers, and leaders; collect payments upon delivery when required.

What youll bring

  • Age 21 or older (mandatory company policy).
  • 1+ year of professional driving experience (cube van, box truck, or semi) and successful completion of a company road test by a qualified assessor.
  • Valid drivers license with a good driving record that meets our driver policy.
  • Valid DOT Medical Card per DOT/FMCSA guidelines.
  • Ability to be trained and safely operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and high‑reach lifts as needed.
  • Strength and stamina to lift 50 lbs frequently and up to 80 lbs occasionally; ability to push up to 40 lbs.
  • Commitment to safe operating procedures, following instructions, and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Safety, gear, and environment

  • Protective equipment required: steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, safety harness, seatbelt, SRL (self‑retracting lifeline). All equipment is provided by U.S. AutoForce except for steel/composite toe boots.
  • Adhere to safety and manufacturer guidelines for compliant use of all protective equipment.
  • Work around moderate noise, tire/car part/lubricant fumes, and outdoor weather conditions while loading/unloading and delivering.
