Non CDL / Warehouse

Hire Up Staffing is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Non-CDL Driver/Warehouse Associate for a growing company in Toledo, OH. 
 

This position splits time between warehouse responsibilities and driving company vehicles for local deliveries. Some weeks may be primarily warehouse work, while others may involve driving for most of your shift based on business needs.
 
What You'll Do Warehouse Responsibilities

• Pick, pull, pack, and stage customer orders
• Receive, verify, and stock incoming inventory
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
• Cut wire and prepare materials for customer orders
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Use RF scanners to track inventory and shipments
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse
• Assist with inventory control and general warehouse duties

  Driving Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles, including:
  • Small cube truck (similar to a U-Haul)
  • 26-foot automatic straight truck
• Complete local deliveries and pickups (typically less than 250 miles per day)
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Secure and transport cargo, including boxes, pallets, and pipe
• Obtain customer signatures and delivery documentation
• Communicate with dispatch regarding deliveries and schedules
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
• Keep company vehicles clean and report maintenance concerns promptly

  Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum 2-3 years of professional driving experience
• Valid Non-CDL driver's license (Class C, D, or E)
• Must be 21 years of age or older (insurance requirement)
• Current Medical Examiner's Card (DOT Medical Card) required
• Clean driving record with no moving violations
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment

  Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Driving responsibilities may range from approximately 35% to 95% of the workweek depending on operational needs.

Employment Details

• Pay: $20.00 per hour
