Non CDL Yard Hostler | $25/HR| Riverside, CA

Road Warrior Staffing is hiring Yard Hostlers in Riverside, CA for a dedicated yard-driving position. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced CDL and non-CDL drivers looking for consistent work without the demands of over-the-road or local street driving.

Drivers do not leave the yard. The position involves moving trailers and equipment within the client's private yard and does not require drivers to make deliveries or operate on public roads.

Available Positions

Friday–Monday – Evening Shift

6:00 PM start time
10–12 hour shifts
4-day workweek

Friday–Monday – Midday Shift

12:00 PM start time
10–12 hour shifts
4-day workweek

Pay:

CDL Drivers: $25.00 per hour
Non-CDL Drivers: $22.00 per hour

Duties

Safely move trailers and equipment within the client's yard
Spot and position trailers at designated dock doors and yard locations
Perform yard checks and trailer movements as assigned
Safely operate yard vehicles and equipment
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Communicate effectively with yard personnel, dispatch, and warehouse teams
Maintain awareness of surrounding equipment, pedestrians, and other vehicles
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections as required
Maintain a clean and organized yard environment
Drivers remain on the property and do not leave the yard

Qualifications

Qualifications
Must have 6 Months of recent Yard driving/Yard Switching experience
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL or non-CDL
REALLY GOOD AT BACKING
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols at all times.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as part of the hiring process.
