Non-Certified Substitute Teacher - Reactivation for the 2026-2027 School Year

Application Requirements:

• Please submit an updated resume;
• If references are requested, you will receive an email from PSB-Staffing with the instructions of how to upload your reference contact details into the ATS. Please ensure your references are aware that they may be contacted;
• If an updated Criminal Record Check (CRC) including the Vulnerable Sector Check is required, we will provide a letter to help you obtain it within a two week timeframe. The original CRC/VSC must be submitted either in person or by mail to the PSB Branch Office, attention HR Department.

Important Information:

• Starting September 2026, the Public Schools Branch is transitioning to PowerSchool as our new absence management system. You can access it via the web or through the mobile app.
• Once you are reactivated, you will receive an email containing a help guide. Please use the help guide for your initial setup. Once logged in select your preferred schools, and ensure your profile is active.
• If you receive confirmation for a job you did not accept, or if you become unable to work a scheduled shift, please notify the school immediately.
• We actively monitor our substitute list to ensure we have active and available substitutes to meet daily school needs. If at any point you are not actively subbing, your account will be deactivated and an Record of Employment (ROE) will be issued.
