Requirements
- Workday Payroll experience
- Significant payroll tax experience
- Experience supporting large, complex payroll environments, preferably 20,000 employees
- Experience in healthcare or large enterprise payroll operations
- Experience with payroll processing in a finance, payroll, or expense reimbursement environment
- Experience with garnishment processing, employee deductions, and payroll compliance workflows
- Ability to process payroll items accurately within required deadlines
- Proficiency in reviewing payroll data, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining documentation
- Ability to work hybrid from the Roseville, CA location as required
Preferred Requirements
- Healthcare payroll experience
- Experience supporting contingent, contract, or limited-term workforce payroll needs
- Familiarity with LotusOne or similar requisition and workforce systems
- Ability to communicate payroll issues clearly with managers and internal support teams
Summary / Duties
We are seeking a dedicated professional to support our payroll operations on a 6-month hybrid contract assignment in Roseville, CA. This role involves managing large, complex payroll workflows with an emphasis on Workday Payroll, payroll tax, garnishments, employee deductions, compliance deadlines, and accurate high-volume transaction handling. Responsibilities include reviewing payroll data, processing garnishment and deduction activity, researching discrepancies, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with payroll leadership to ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned work. The position helps support workload coverage, reduce overtime burden, and minimize legal or compliance risk tied to delayed or inaccurate payroll and garnishment processing. This is a non-patient-care role within the Finance, Payroll, and Expense Reimbursement job family.
