Department: Academic Affairs/Office of the Provost Salary: $12.00 per hour

Description:

Non-College Workstudy

Duties:

  • Perform administrative duties such as answering phones, greeting guests in the suite, scanning and copying, and assisting with events.
  • Support the Coordinator of Web Support and Publications with daily web updates in the Modern Campus CMS, correcting issues identified by Site Improve.
  • Collaborate with the Coordinator of Web Support and Publications to build a robust calendar of social media content.
  • Interact with senior-level university personnel, students, and the general population.
  • Run errands within the university campus buildings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Must wear business casual attire
  • Must be customer service-oriented
  • Must be very professional, well organized, responsible and punctual
  • Must possess good computer skills: Knowledge of O365 tools (Teams, MS Word, MS Excel, etc.)

Requirements:

  • Must be a current UHD student (undergraduate or graduate)
  • Must have a 2.5 GPA or higher
  • Must qualify for Federal Work-Study in the Fall/Spring semesters
