Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Drivers (6p-2a)

NEMT Driver – Evening Shift (6:00 PM–2:00 AM)

Location: Alexandria, Louisiana
Pay: Up to $15.00 per hour

Go Ride is seeking dependable, compassionate drivers to provide non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) services in the DeRidder area. We are currently seeking drivers who are available to work our evening shift from approximately 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM.

As a Go Ride driver, you will transport ambulatory and non-ambulatory passengers to and from medical appointments, healthcare facilities, and other approved destinations. This position requires reliability, patience, professionalism, and the ability to safely assist passengers with different mobility needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company-provided vehicles, including wheelchair-accessible vehicles.
• Transport passengers according to assigned trips and schedules.
• Assist passengers with safely entering and exiting the vehicle.
• Properly secure passengers, wheelchairs, and other mobility devices.
• Maintain professional and courteous communication with passengers, dispatch, facilities, and coworkers.
• Follow dispatch instructions and communicate delays or concerns promptly.
• Maintain the cleanliness and basic condition of the assigned vehicle.
• Complete required trip documentation and other assigned records.
• Follow all company safety, attendance, training, and transportation requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Must possess a valid Louisiana driver's license and obtain/maintain the required Chauffeur's/Class D license or applicable CDL for the position.
• At least one year of driving experience.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Must successfully complete required criminal background check and drug screening.
• Must be willing and able to complete required NEMT, wheelchair securement, CPR, and other driver training.
• Must be dependable and able to report to scheduled shifts on time.
• Must be comfortable driving during evening and nighttime hours.
• Knowledge of the DeRidder and surrounding area is preferred.
• Previous transportation, healthcare, caregiving, customer service, or NEMT experience is a plus but not required.

Schedule:
We are currently hiring specifically for an evening shift of approximately 6:00 PM–2:00 AM. Applicants should have consistent availability for this shift. Additional hours may be available depending on operational needs.
