About the Job The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering regularly seeks applicants for temporary (67 days or less)/casual (fewer than 14 hours per week) positions. These positions include academic and/or administrative responsibilities, on a temporary or casual basis.Responsibilities Collaborations with faculty or staff supervisorsPerforming duties contributing to the goals of the department, College of Science and Engineering, and University of MinnesotaPlease note this posting is not for a specific position, but to establish a pool of applicants for consideration on an as‑needed basis as opportunities arise within the department throughout the year. Positions are based on need, funding, and performance.Qualifications Educational credentials, work experience, and/or certifications in specific area/field that do not exceed those of comparable UMN job classifications. Qualifications determined by supervisor in consultation with Human Resources.Pay and Benefits Pay Range: $15.25 - $44.72 / hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.Retirement plan options are available for Civil Service, Faculty, Labor-Represented, Professional & Administrative, and Temp Casual classifications.
