Job Summary and Responsibilities

As ourNon-Invasive Cardiologist, you will spearhead comprehensive cardiovascular diagnostics and treatment as aboard-certified (or eligible) physicianwith specialized expertise inCardiac CT. Your role is pivotal in a rapidly expanding service line, focusing on advanced imaging modalities crucial for aprogrammatic approach to complex cardiovascular care. We seek aNon-Invasive Cardiologistwith a strong foundation incardiac imaging, including a preference for experience inCardiac MRI, structural imaging, and complex echocardiography, to elevate patient care and contribute to our innovative team.

Every day you will leverage yourCOCATS Level III training in Cardiac CT(required) and ideallyCardiac MRI(strongly preferred) to provide expert interpretations ofcoronary CT angiographyandstructural heart CT. You will be instrumental inpre-procedural planning for complex interventionssuch such asTAVR, TMVR/TEER, tricuspid interventions, and LAAO, collaborating closely with our structural heart, interventional, and heart failure teams. Additionally, you will participate inmultimodality imaging, utilizing your skills intransthoracic and/or transesophageal echocardiography, and actively engage in theeducation and mentorship of fellows, residents, and advanced practice providers, with opportunities to pursueacademic and research interests in cardiac imaging.

To be successful in this role, you will possess aboard certification/eligibility as a Non-Invasive Cardiologistand demonstrate a deep commitment toadvanced cardiac imaging. Your ability tointerpret complex cardiac CT scansand contribute tostructural heart pre-procedural planningis paramount. Job Requirements

Required

  • MD/DO Degree
  • Active or eligible license in the state of Arizona
  • Cardiovascular Disease (Board Certified/Board Eligible)
  • Echocardiography (BC/BE)
  • Nuclear experience preferred.
  • Academic experience in teaching residents and/or cardiology fellows preferred
  • Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
