Provider Specialty Cardiology
Overview: Sentara Medical Group is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our award-winning, nationally recognized, innovative, non-profit healthcare system in Harrisonburg, VA. Position Highlights & Clinical Practice Supportive, collaborative cardiology team of 10 physicians and 12 APPs committed to high-quality patient care. Balanced inpatient and outpatient practice offering variety and continuity. Single-hospital coverage with outpatient clinic on site. Perform echo, TEE, and nuclear stress testing. Coronary CTA or Cardiac MRI experience welcomed, but not required. Robust, comprehensive cardiovascular program with on-site cardiothoracic surgery and a full range of structural heart and electrophysiology services.
Schedule & Workflow Rotating weekly schedule: 1 week inpatient (5 days) / 1 week outpatient clinic (4 days). Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. APP support: Dedicated APP assistance for inpatient care and call coverage. Clinic volume: Average of 16-18 patients per day. Call schedule: 1:8 rotation with APP support for flexibility and work-life balance.
