Position Overview
A full-time Non-Invasive Cardiologist opportunity is available within a dynamic and growing cardiovascular program. This role offers the chance to join a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, interventionalists, cardiac surgeons, vascular surgeons, and electrophysiologists in a high-volume, state-of-the-art clinical environment.
The position includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, with access to advanced cardiac procedures and a strong referral base.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide non-invasive cardiology care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Perform and interpret cardiac diagnostic procedures, including:
- Echocardiography
- Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
- Nuclear cardiology studies
- Cardiac stress testing
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team including surgeons and specialists
- Participate in cardiac rehabilitation initiatives
- Work closely with advanced practice providers (NPs and Client) for coordinated patient care
- Contribute to teaching opportunities, including involvement with residency programs
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board eligible or board certified in Cardiovascular Disease
- Completion of:
- Internal Medicine residency
- Cardiovascular Disease fellowship (non-invasive focus preferred)
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted state medical license
- DEA certification
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
