Job Description

Job Description:
  • The NMT/NEMT Lead supports Medi-Cal Beneficiaries by coordinating transportation for eligible medical-related appointments.
  • These include doctor visits, prescription pickups, physical therapy, and other approved services.
  • The role ensures timely, accurate processing of transportation requests in alignment with DHCS guidelines.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (MMIS, healthcare, ride services, contact center or related field preferred).
  • Minimum six years of functional area experience (contact center operations, healthcare operations, ride service provisioning, information technology, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change delivering intended results and outcomes.
  • Strong relationship management skills, with demonstrated ability to effectively navigate and mediate conflict and foster direct dialog with members, providers, external clients, employees, account partners, and internal business teams.
  • Strong analytical skillset and critical thinking (i.e., ability to compile, interpret and analyze data to make fact-based recommendations and decisions) and proactively disseminate best practices across the account to standardize and improve workflows.
