Non-Musical (Play) Assistant

The Savannah R-3 School District is seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Assistant Non-Musical Play Sponsor to support the district's theater program. The Assistant Sponsor will work with the Play Sponsor to help students develop acting, communication, performance, and teamwork skills while preparing for the school's non-musical theatrical production.  This opening is for the current 2026-27 school year.Essential ResponsibilitiesAssist with planning, rehearsing, and supervising the school's non-musical play.Support students with acting, character development, memorization, and stage performance.Assist with rehearsals, blocking, props, costumes, and other production needs.Help supervise students during rehearsals, performances, and school-sponsored events.Promote a positive, creative, and supportive environment for student participants.Assist with coordinating production activities and meeting performance deadlines.Encourage professionalism, teamwork, responsibility, and commitment among cast and crew.Perform other duties as assigned by the Play Sponsor or administration.
