Position Summary

The Short-Term Casual Officer will provide temporary research support for the research activities of Dr. John Rausch. Responsibilities include assisting with survey administration and data collection, maintaining research records and databases, and supporting manuscript development through literature reviews, reference management, data organization, and preparation of abstracts and publications. The incumbent will work collaboratively with research staff and study participants to support the successful completion of ongoing research projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the administration, distribution, and collection of research surveys, ensuring data integrity and participant confidentiality.
  • Maintain and organize research databases, study records, and project documentation in accordance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct literature reviews and summarize relevant scientific findings to support ongoing research initiatives.
  • Support the preparation of abstracts, presentations, manuscripts, and other scholarly materials for publication and dissemination.
  • Collaborate with investigators and research team members to coordinate project activities, monitor study progress, and meet established research deadlines.
  • Performs related duties & responsibilities as assigned/requested.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or Equivalency required.
