Position Summary
The Department of Surgery is looking for Short Term Casual (Non-Student). Incumbent will perform multiple assignments under direct supervision.
Responsibilities
- Extract data from the medical record and record it in appropriate databases.
- Complete data entry activities with supervision and support as needed.
- Save documentation for research studies and file them in an organized manner.
- Meet with research team members and investigators to provide updates on projects.
- Assist research coordinators with tasks as needed to support study activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalency certificate, technical training or equivalency, and some related laboratory experience, usually six months.
Other Requirements
- Intermediate to advanced level MS Office skills.
- Familiarity with clinical trial workflow and general medical terminology
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy
- Excellent attention to detail and proactive follow-through of assigned projects
- Thorough knowledge of MS Excel
- Ability to keep records in an orderly fashion
- Ability understand and adhere to compliance policies
- Ability to respectfully and effectively communicate with patients, staff, and faculty
