Shift: Fri-Tuesday 2pm-10:30pm (30)
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist in the care and supervision of patients with mental health or psychiatric disorders.
Monitor patient behavior and report significant changes to the healthcare team.
Support patients with daily living activities, hygiene, and personal care.
Assist with therapeutic activities and treatment programs.
Observe and document patient progress, behaviors, and responses to treatment.
Help maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Respond appropriately to behavioral crises using approved intervention techniques.
Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transportation within the facility.
Promote patient dignity, confidentiality, and emotional well-being.
Comply with facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
Current, valid, and unrestricted CA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Licensed Psychiatric Technician.
Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
