Key Responsibilities for the Controller:
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, GL) and monthly/year-end close
• Lead financial reporting, variance analysis, and cash flow management
• Manage annual audit and serve as primary liaison with external auditors
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, nonprofit standards (ASC 958), and regulatory filings
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members
• Drive process improvements and support system enhancements



Qualifications for the Controller:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA required
• 5–10 years of accounting experience, including nonprofit accounting
• Experience managing staff and leading accounting operations
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit financial reporting
• Proficiency with accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
