In this role, you'll take charge of production teams during your shift, ensuring the factory runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently while driving continuous improvement and team success.
As a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor, you'll be responsible for guiding manufacturing personnel, overseeing machine operations, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. You'll work closely with management and your team to meet production goals and uphold safety protocols.
What You'll Do
As a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Leading manufacturing personnel and overseeing machine operations during your assigned shift.
- Coordinating daily workflow to ensure smooth and efficient production.
- Monitoring manufacturing processes and equipment for optimal performance.
- Troubleshooting production issues and collaborating with the Conversion Manager or Plant Engineers for solutions.
- Reviewing employee training progress and supporting team development.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Verifying product identification, weights, labeling, and proper warehousing of finished goods.
- Communicating production status, shift updates, and operational priorities to incoming shifts and planning teams.
- Maintaining responsibility for production output, product quality, equipment, housekeeping, and employee safety within your area.
- Completing safety incident reports and assisting in accident investigations.
- Identifying and reporting potential safety hazards to management.
- Maintaining current annual forklift certification.
- Performing other duties as needed to support plant operations.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- At least 3 years of manufacturing experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Trainer or Expeditor.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and production equipment.
- Ability to organize work, prioritize tasks, and lead in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
- Current or annually renewed forklift certification.

Location & Schedule:
This position is on-site in Huntington Beach and offers a 3 pm - 11:30 pm shift with days off on either Fri/Sat or Sun/Mon.
