Now Hiring: Agricultural Equipment Technicians | Sterling, CO

Gpac is currently recruiting for two agricultural equipment opportunities with a well-established dealership in Sterling, Colorado. Forage Harvester Mechanics offer $30–$50/hour, and Advanced Ag Techs $25-$40/hr based on experience, strong benefits, and opportunities for continued training and career growth.

1. Forage Harvester Technician

Ideal for someone with specialized experience working on forage harvesters, choppers, and complex agricultural equipment.

Looking for:

• Formal Diesel or Agricultural Mechanics training
• Hands-on agricultural equipment experience
• Strong hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical diagnostic skills
• Experience with self-propelled or pull-type forage harvesters preferred
• Ability to read schematics and service manuals

2. Advanced Agriculture Mechanic

Ideal for an experienced agricultural technician with a broader background working on tractors, combines, hay equipment, planting equipment, and other farm machinery.

Looking for:

• Formal Diesel/Agricultural training or strong equivalent experience
• 3+ years of agricultural, diesel, or heavy equipment repair
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with agricultural equipment and diagnostic systems
• Ability to work independently and solve complex equipment issues
