• Possess a current, valid Alabama Security Regulatory Board (ASRB) Armed Security Officer License.
  
  
• Own a serviceable duty weapon suitable for authorized armed security assignments and compliant with company requirements.

COMPENSATION & EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES


Starting Pay: $16.00–$18.00 Per Hour


Compensation is determined by assignment requirements, qualifications, relevant experience, and performance, including satisfactory completion of the company's 90-day probationary period.

MINIMUM EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS


All applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Be at least 21 years of age.
   
   
2. Possess a current Alabama ASRB Armed Security Officer License in good standing.
   
   
3. Own an appropriate duty weapon and meet all company firearm qualification and authorization requirements.
   
   
4. Possess a valid driver's license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
   
   
5. Have reliable transportation to and from assigned duty locations.
   
   
6. Possess a high school diploma or GED.
   
   
7. Successfully complete required criminal background checks and drug screening.
   
   
8. Demonstrate strong communication, conflict-resolution, and customer service skills.
   
   
9. Maintain a neat, professional appearance and a respectful demeanor.
   
   
10. Exhibit sound judgment, integrity, accountability, and situational awareness.
    
    
11. Be physically capable of performing assigned security duties.
    
    
12. Be willing to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime when operationally necessary.
    
    
13. Comply with all applicable state regulations, company policies, post orders, and firearm safety requirements.
    
    

Prior military, law enforcement, corrections, executive protection, or professional armed security experience is highly desirable.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


As a WSIPS Armed Security Officer, you will serve as a professional representative of our company while protecting our clients and their interests.


Responsibilities include:

• Protection & Deterrence: Maintain a visible, professional armed security presence to deter criminal activity, unauthorized access, and security threats.
  
  
• Patrol Operations: Conduct assigned foot and vehicle patrols to identify safety hazards, suspicious activity, and potential security concerns.
  
  
• Access Control: Monitor entrances and exits, verify authorized access, and enforce client-specific security procedures.
  
  
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly and professionally to alarms, disturbances, medical emergencies, and security incidents within the scope of training and authority.
  
  
• Incident Documentation: Prepare accurate, detailed, and timely daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation.
  
  
• Policy Enforcement: Follow established post orders, operational directives, company policies, and client instructions.
  
  
• Professional Communication: Coordinate appropriately with supervisors, clients, emergency responders, and law enforcement personnel.
  
  
• Customer Service: Provide courteous assistance to employees, visitors, vendors, and members of the public.
  
  
• Firearm Responsibility: Maintain strict compliance with firearm safety standards, authorized equipment requirements, and applicable laws.
  
  
• Operational Readiness: Report for duty on time, properly uniformed, alert, equipped, and prepared to perform all assigned responsibilities.
