Job Description: We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Community Participation Support (CPS) Staff / Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to an individual in the Mount Airy area. This role focuses on promoting independence, community engagement, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct one-on-one support in the community
- Assist with daily living and social activities
- Encourage community participation and engagement
- Support the individual in achieving personal goals
- Ensure safety and well-being at all times
- Maintain professional communication with the care team
Qualifications:
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred
- Reliable, patient, and compassionate demeanor
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to follow care plans and provide structured support
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Must pass background checks and clearances
