Night Shift Chemical Manufacturing Operator — Urgently hiring in Corvallis!

Job Title: Night Shift Chemical Manufacturing Operator
Pay: $21.00 (training) / $23.10 (night shift) per hour
Hours: M-F 7:00am - 3:30pm (training), 7:00 PM – 5:30 AM (4x10 schedule) (limit this to just the weekday and hours)
Start Date: ASAP

As a Night Shift Chemical Manufacturing Operator, you'll be essential in supporting chemical production processes. You'll work closely with your team to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in operations that keep the facility running smoothly.
 

What You'll Do
As a Night Shift Chemical Manufacturing Operator, you will be responsible for:
  • Operating bottling, labeling, and packaging lines to prepare finished goods for timely shipment
  • Decanting 1-gallon containers into smaller bottles within glovebox environments, following all safety protocols
  • Selecting, preparing, and organizing bottles for distribution from various storage locations
  • Cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining chemical manufacturing equipment in collaboration with engineering teams
  • Replacing gas cylinders, managing chemical waste, and supporting safe, compliant operations


What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Associates degree or higher (required)
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Good attention to detail and safety consciousness
  • Ability to read technical documents and follow procedures
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Ability to train on day shift before transitioning to night shift
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with strong communication and organizational skills
