PART-TIME BILLING & CLAIMS SPECIALIST
Paramount Home Health Care LLC is looking for an experienced, professional, reliable, and highly detail-oriented Billing & Claims Specialist to join our team.

- Holiday, Florida Office
- Brooksville, Florida Office
Position Details
Part-Time – 3 Days Per WeekDays: Monday – WednesdayPay: Negotiable based on experience
Flexible Hours
You may choose between the available work schedules:
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, including a 30-minute unpaid break
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, including a 30-minute unpaid break
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Candidates MUST have hands-on experience with:
- HHAeXchange
- Availity
- Healthcare/home health billing
- Claims submission and follow-up
- Checking claim status and payments
- Handling denied, rejected, pending, and unpaid claims
Experience working with payers such as Humana, Simply Healthcare, Sunshine Health, Florida Blue, Molina Healthcare, Veterans Affairs (VA), Medicaid, Medicare, and other insurance plans is highly desirable.
EVV EXPERIENCE – STRONG PLUS
Experience with our EVV system, Alora Plus, will make you a strong candidate for this position.
If you do not have experience with Alora Plus, training can be provided as long as you are a fast learner, comfortable with technology, and willing to learn quickly.
Key Responsibilities
- Submit claims accurately and on time
- Follow claims from submission through final payment
- Check claim status using HHAeXchange, Availity, and payer portals
- Follow up on unpaid, rejected, denied, or pending claims
- Correct and resubmit claims when necessary
- Research denials and payment discrepancies
- Communicate professionally with insurance companies and payer representatives
- Review remittance and payment information
- Maintain accurate billing and claims records
- Assist with payment reconciliation
- Work with our EVV and billing systems
- Follow outstanding claims until they are resolved and paid
Qualifications
- HHAeXchange experience is REQUIRED
- Availity experience is REQUIRED
- Previous home health or healthcare billing experience
- Strong claims follow-up and denial-resolution skills
- Alora Plus experience is a strong advantage
- QuickBooks experience is a plus
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized
- Professional, committed, dependable, and reliable
- Strong computer and communication skills
- Fast learner and able to work independently
We are looking for someone who understands that billing does not stop when a claim is submitted. You must be willing to take ownership of claims, identify and resolve problems, communicate with payers, and follow claims until they are successfully processed and paid.
