What You'll Do
As a Shipping Clerk, you will be responsible for
- Determining the best shipping method based on route, rates, and procedures
- Picking up and delivering freight in a timely manner
- Conducting routine vehicle inspections, including checking oil, brakes, water, lights, and tires
- Loading, handling, and transporting materials and heavy cargo safely
- Operating forklifts and pallet jacks to move items within the warehouse
- Securing cargo using ratchet straps, chains, and binders
- Affixing shipping labels and preparing containers with fillers and padding
- Planning and monitoring shipments to ensure on-time delivery and documentation accuracy
- Verifying shipment details against bills and invoices, recording shortages or damages, and addressing issues as needed
- Maintaining detailed records of shipment data and documenting any discrepancies
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have
- A high school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required)
- Valid drivers license and experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks
- Knowledge of shipping procedures, safety protocols, and vehicle maintenance
- Ability to lift and handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Location & Schedule
This position is on-site in Huntington Beach and offers a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
