Position Snapshot

  • Schedule: Full?time, Monday–Friday, 07:30–18:00 (variable to total ~36 clinical hours/week)
  • Salary: $260,000 – $325,000 per year
  • Benefits: 50–55 days PTO/year, federal pension (5-year vest), 401(k) matching, comprehensive insurance, CME stipend ($1,000/year), liability protection

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality urgent care for Veterans—managing acute/chronic conditions across diverse patient populations
  • Conduct diagnostics, procedures, orders, referrals, and medication management
  • Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams—including specialty services and resident training
  • Ensure compliance with VA policies, patient safety, and national clinical standards

Qualifications

  • Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution
  • Licensure: Current, full, and unrestricted U.S. medical license
  • Residency: Completed ACGME/AOA-accredited residency—Emergency Medicine strongly preferred; Family or Internal Medicine with significant EM experience accepted
  • Citizenship: U.S. citizen (non-citizens eligible only if no qualified citizens available)
