Job Summary
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Neurology team in Longview, TX. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered neurological care in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in neurology or a related specialty and be comfortable managing a variety of neurological conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with a wide range of neurological conditions
- Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up visits
- Perform comprehensive neurological assessments and physical exams
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies including imaging and labs
- Develop and manage treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, and ongoing care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
Qualifications
- Current Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
- Previous neurology or related experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
