Job Summary

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Pediatrics team in Longview, TX. This role is focused on providing comprehensive, patient-centered care to newborns through adolescents in an outpatient clinic setting. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in pediatrics or family medicine with a strong pediatric patient base and be comfortable managing a wide range of pediatric conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient pediatric care for patients from newborn through adolescence
  • Conduct well-child visits, developmental screenings, and routine immunizations
  • Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and manage chronic pediatric conditions
  • Educate parents and caregivers on growth, development, nutrition, and preventive care
  • Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostic studies
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure high-quality, coordinated care

Qualifications

  • Current Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • National certification (PNCB, AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
  • Previous experience in pediatrics OR family medicine with pediatric patients required
  • Strong clinical and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in an outpatient setting

Schedule & Compensation

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Outpatient only – no nights, weekends, or call
